SOLID SURFACE COUNTERTOP CARE GUIDE
To keep your new solid surface countertops looking like new, a few simple maintenance and care procedures are suggested.
• Since your solid surface countertops are nonporous, they can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth or sponge or a mild detergent. Warm soapy water, general purpose cleaners or glass cleaners can also be used.
• Water marks can be removed by wiping with a damp sponge or cloth and drying with a towel.
• Occasionally wipe your countertops with a diluted household bleach solution (1/1 water to bleach).
• Stains from food dye, tea and fruit drinks can usually be removed with full strength bleach followed by a general cleaner flushed with water. Do not ever let the bleach remain on the surface for more than five minutes.
• Solid surface sinks can be cleaned with Soft Scrub and a Scotch Brite pad.
• We do not recommend using any abrasive cleaners such as Ajax, Comet, or Soft Scrub on your solid surface tops.
• Do not place hot pans or heat producing appliances directly on your countertop. Always use a trivet with legs.
• To avoid scratching the surface, do not cut directly on the countertop. Use a cutting board to protect the surface.
• Do not expose your countertops to harsh chemicals such as drain, oven, or toilet bowl cleaners.
• To activate your warranty, please complete and return your Warranty Card.
